THE ISL COMMITMENT

Our Repair Centre technicians can address a wide range of equipment problems, saving you the hassle of sending your camera, lenses or accessories overseas while still giving you the peace of mind provided by an authorised service centre.

If you encounter an issue with a product, simply send them to us along with your contact details and, if applicable, your warranty card and proof of purchase. Our Nikon-trained technicians will evaluate your product and determine a solution. We offer a three-year warranty for all Nikon camera bodies bought from us and a one-year warranty for all Nikon products. If your product is under warranty and the problem is covered, we will repair or replace it at no cost. Otherwise, we will send you a quotation for approval before engaging in any work. Once the warranty is certified or payment is received, our technicians will work to repair the product as soon as possible, subject to the availability of necessary parts, and let you know when you can expect to receive it.

Please note that any warranty claims must be accompanied by a copy of the Proof of Purchase and the Warranty card, otherwise the repair will be suspended until the valid documentation is received.

Please ensure all items sent are packaged sufficiently to protect against damage during transit.
Payment for Repairs Not Under Warranty
If a necessary repair does not fall under warranty, we will send you a quotation before beginning work.
If you accept the costs of the repair, you will be requested to make the payment via our bank or MPESA - PayBill No. 542625 and Account Number: 00300203071202.

If you do not accept the quote, we will return the camera in the same manner it was received. Transport charges will be borne by the customer.
Warranty Information
Only Nikon digital products bought in Kenya have a warranty honoured by the Imaging Solution Limited (ISL) Service Centre. Nikon digital products bought outside Kenya have localised warranties and are therefore not supported by the ISL Service Centre.

Any warranty claims must be accompanied by a Proof of Purchase and a Service Warranty Owner's Record. The Service Warranty Owner's Record must include owner's name, address, telephone number, email address, date of purchase, unique reference number and the seller's stamp. In the absence of the Proof of Purchase and a completed Service Warranty Owner's Record, the repair will not be valid.

All costs, including mail, transportation, insurance and other incidental charges in relation to repair work, are at your expense. All other claims of any nature are not covered.


One Year Limited Warranty
Imaging Solutions Limited offers a 1-year warranty on all its Nikon products from point of purchase. Cameras under warranty will either be repaired or replaced free of cost, subject to the conditions of the warranty.

Problems not under warranty will be charged accordingly.

Repairs for cameras not covered by a warranty will be charged. You will be informed of the cost and details of the repair for your approval before the repair is actioned.


ISL Service Centre Warranty Information
The warranty does not apply to any of the following:

1. Defects or malfunctions caused by damage resulting from improper care, misuse or abuse of this product, or operation of this product contrary to the instructions contained in the owner's manual.
2. Damage or defect caused by accident, leakage of batteries, sand, solid, liquid and the like.
3. Damage caused during transportation or mail.
4. Damage caused by any modification or servicing performed by person(s) other than Nikon authorised service facility.
5. Accessories including batteries and AC adaptor and other consumables.
6. Any electronic data loss due to malfunctioning or repair of this product.
7. Any consequential or incidental damages resulting from any breach of warranty, express or implied, applicable to this product.
8. The serial number has been altered or removed.

THE WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND WILL NOT BE RE-ISSUED.


Customer's Warranty
The Customer warrants that the Goods are his own property and are not dangerous or potentially dangerous and shall indemnify Nikon against any loss, death, injury or damage from breach of this warranty.
Terms And Conditions Of Repairs Undertaken By ISL
  • Repairs of any camera returned will take up to 10 days.
  • Warranty is not applicable to cases other than manufactures default.
  • Warranty will be voided if product has been tampered with.
  • A minimum non-refundable diagnosis fee will be charged on all out of warranty repairs and all spares will be paid for by the customer.
  • We will not be held responsible for any missing part or accessory unless specifically listed.
  • Repair may take time if spares are not available or have been ordered.
  • Repairs to liquid or physically damaged products are not warranted nor guaranteed.
  • We will not be held responsible for any data loss. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all data is backed up.
