Product Description

Capture Moments from a Distance or Up Close

With 20.2 effective megapixels in a high performance NIKKOR lens, the L340 has a wide-angle lens that covers 22.5mm to 630mm (35mm format equivalent) and is perfect for sprawling landscapes or family portraits. It also packs a superb telephoto range with 28x optical zoom and 56x Dynamic Fine Zoom*1 (approximately 1260mm equivalent in 35mm format) to bring you closer to what matters. No matter where you are, the Scene Auto Selector optimises your shooting environment with preconfigured settings. The L340 also features Vibration Reduction (VR) to minimise shake and deliver exceptionally sharp photos. Such clarity is further enhanced with a unique grip that makes it easy to hold your camera steady as you shoot.

Memories that Are Moving in Every Way

Some memories are best enjoyed through videos. Which is why the L340 offers seamless, simple HD movie recording. With just one touch of a button, you can start recording videos in 720p format and monoaural sound – perfect for birthday celebrations or your child’s sports day at school.

Good Things Come in Small Packages

As the smallest camera*2 with 28x optical zoom, the L340 measures only 111.1mm (width) x 76.3mm (height) x 83.3mm (depth) when its lens is fully retracted. It weighs approximately 430g, even when it’s fully loaded with batteries and SD memory card, making it portable enough to carry everywhere you go. With a 460k-dot (HGVA) TFT 3-inch LCD monitor, this camera is great for reviewing photos and videos, right after you take them. Powered by standard AA-sized batteries, you no longer have to worry about running out of power when you need it most. Just pick up new batteries wherever you are and start capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
